Hazel and Hobbs lived by the sea.
Every morning and every evening they would stroll and play along the ocean’s sandy beach.
They met many friends along the way, greeting them with great joy as who could be sad amongst the waves, the seagulls, the seashells, the amazing air, sun and sand.
They were best friends.
They were very different but understood each other and felt complete when they were together.
Hazel was in charge, and Hobbs liked it that way.
She ran the roost while Hobbs enjoyed just being and following Hazel’s lead.
They slept together, ate together, played together and pooped and peed together.
They loved each other, and they loved their owner, Dick.
How did he know to pair up Hazel, a 5 lb. Maltese, and Hobbs, a Swiss mountain dog weighing over 120 lbs.?
It was a match made in Heaven.
Easy, breezy and comfortable.
So different, yet they make it work.
Why can’t we do that?
Why can’t humans appreciate each other like Hazel and Hobbs and just live in peace? Isn’t it time to get our act together and be like Hazel and Hobbs? Hopefully soon…:)
Note: We met Hazel and Hobbs on our vacation at the beach. And every time they saw us, both dogs gave us a ton of love and affection. Hobbs also gave us some slobbers which I could have done without honestly..:) I wish I had a picture to share. It was pretty incredible seeing these two dogs interact together and with other people and dogs on the beach….
THE END
