Getting “Ahem” Older

Ali:  You know how I know I’m getting old?

Jamie: You mean “older.”

Ali: Yeah, older.

Jamie: So how?

Ali: When I see a bakery charging $24 for a friggin pie! And a little one no less.

Jamie: Wow that’s crazy, but you know that’s the going rate at Whole Foods too.

Ali: Really?

Jamie:  Where have you been the last couple of years?

Ali: Well, it’s clear I haven’t been buying pies!!

Jamie:  And you’re starting now?

Ali: Definitely not at those prices. 

Jamie: How about a muffin instead?

Ali: Only if you indulge me with a $4.00 coffee.

Jamie:  $4 for a coffee? Are you kidding me?

Ali:  Now who’s getting “older?” :):)
