I flit like a butterfly
From one heart and mind opening idea to another
From one book, one teacher, one philosophy to another
Invigorating! tintillatting,
Exciting, energizing, expansive
But does the flitting
Keep me from going deep?
From going into the space of connection
For which I so tongue-waggingly seek?
I suck up a bit of wisdom and light
Then go on to the next….
Spiritual junkie, or, master of ONEness?
New, new, new
Into the new, new, new
Or deep, deep, deep
Into the ONE?
I flit like a butterfly
But today I consider
Being a Buddha.
