It’s taken me 54 years and 11 months to finally get it.

 

I don’t want be a “Grown-up.”

 

I wanna reclaim my place as a child of the Universe!

 

Kids play, kids are joyful, kids smile A LOT!

 

Children see and feel the wonder, they go “oooh!” and “ahhh!”

 

Children squeal with joy as they jump in and out of puddles!

 

They don’t give a shit if their clothes get dirty.

 

Or worry about catching a cold.

 

God Almighty, grown-ups are so serious and scared.

 

I don’t want to be serious or scared anymore.

 

I am a child of God, of the Universe, of the All That Is.

 

So I’m gonna go out and play……
