Live life happy by appreciating ALL the ways you can let go….
You wanna live life happy? Let go of the shit – physically, emotionally and spiritually. Do whatever you’ve got to do to Have A Plentiful Poop Y’all! Happiness is all about LETTING GO and CLEANING OUT. Focus on pooping people, it’s what will help you have a happy life. And everytime you go, say “Halleluyah and Yahoo!”
I know, I know, it’s kind of gross and far out on the fringe that I’m talking about happiness and pooping in the same breath. But is it really? What’s so gross about pooping? We all do it – EVERY LIVING THING does it – even caterpillars (just found that out when I saw a growing bunch of tiny, black pellets dropping off of my snap dragons flowers – who knew!). Pooping is great physical representation of what we are needing to do in all aspects of our humaness! Life is about bringing it all in AND letting it all out. Breathe in, breathe out.
How to live a happy life is all about redefining the meaning of happiness.
Were you, like me, on a quest to “get happy” and turn your life around? If I’ve learned anything useful from all the books, teachers, and personal growth and spiritual philosophies I’ve studied, happiness is not about connecting with your soulmate, lots of money, a thriving career or getting that cute little yorkie in the pet store window (man, I would have taken that pup home if he wasn’t so expensive). Happiness is all about being in the moment, loving what is and letting go of every moment of every day so the new creative, growth-inspired moments have space to come on in.
Best happy quote on how to live a happy life: “Happiness is a journey, not a destination.”
I love this “happy” quote because it takes me off the hook a bit. I don’t have to spend so much of my time looking ahead and being anal (get the pun?) about manifesting. Listen, even though I totally believe in the law of attraction, change your thinking/ change your life, that we have the power to create anything and everything, the bottom line for me is that ultimately, I cannot control HOW what I want is going to come to me in the form of “life.” This has been a MAJOR spiritual awakening for me that allowed me to enjoy the journey more than obsess about the goal.
However, I can control whether or not I hang onto thoughts, feelings, experiences, etc. and let them implode inside of me and make me sick and toxic, or I let life come in and come out. I apply this concept even to the good stuff! My positive mental attitude depends upon this! Hanging on is hanging on whether it’s “good” or “bad.” Both energies still take up space and don’t allow the new to come on in and allow us to grow. Life is about a constant experience of change, movement (bowl movement!) and flow. Out with the old and in with the new and out with the old and…well, you get it.
